Filled with Sadness and Love

I was going to post about doughnuts today, but in light of yesterdays events, I can't post about anything so trivial. Today I cannot pretend everything is right in the world. I can't think of anything to say that would even begin to help heal and mend the emptiness of a parent's heart when losing a child. It hasn't happened to me and I can barely think about what I would do or be like without my little one. And for those of you who are not directly affected by yesterday, but are still affected, please hug your loved ones more than you would normally. Life isn't guaranteed to anybody, so don't take it for granted. My thoughts, prayers, love, and condolences are for those families and communities affected. My heart goes out to you.
